Leonardo Da Vinci is one of the most well known artists ever. i would say his mst known painting is this one of Mona Lisa. everyone i can ask will know who this is and who painted it. Da Vinci was born on April 15, 1452 in a small town in italy. he was raised by a single father and brought up to become an artist. Da vinci wanted to be different from other painters so he decided instead of tempura for a base he would use plaster and pant over that. the only problem was that in time the plaster wold flake off and need lots of repair. the most recent reapir was dome on May of 1999 on the last supper.

I think Da vinci is one of the best artist in history he is just not my style or interest with his type of work  i picked him because i like him based on the fact that he is one of the best known artists ever.
