Michael Godard was born here in southern CA. Michael studied fine art at The University of Nevada in Las Vegas. He his known as the "Olive king". His paintings are 90% about olives but also other fruits and veggies and creatures to life and creating funny scenes with them. In almost all of his paintings he adds a martini glass or some sort of casino scene. Michael got started in this world of olives when his daughter was in a coma in the hospital and he needed something to keep himself up emotionally. Michael had three main paintings that started him off. They were called, "Three Amigos", "Olive Party", and "7 Deadly Zins". Michael is the number one selling artist in the world today!
"Three Amigos"
"Olive Party"
"7 Deadly Zins"
"Winning Big"
"Olive Bunnies"
One of my favorite paintings is "River Run". I like it because I like going to the river and going out on the boat.
I think this shows value and uses many different colors. This painting is on a 17.5 x 22 canvas and sales for around $500.
